Working in teams, students will engage in a full production line simulation of a model car assembly. Five assembly line stations require unique programming and use of real manufacturing tools and equipment. It is a high‐quality, hands‐on experience for a full range of career opportunities in industry! Students will learn about robotic system concepts, types, applications; robot and system integration; human interface, training, as well as industrial robotic manufacturing using CNC devices. A Design Challenge is woven throughout the two weeks. Students develop work readiness competencies, learn about jobs in the regional economy and have a fun two-week experience!

STEP 1
Register with Diablo Valley College AFTER APRIL 1 to get a student ID. You MUST have a student ID number to proceed with the registration process, and it is required for this camp.
If you are already enrolled at DVC and have a valid student ID number, you may skip this step.
STEP 2
After completing the DVC registration process (it can take 24 hours for you to get your student ID number), return to this page and click on the link below which will take you to the online registration. PLEASE NOTE: A number assigned to you that starts with three letters is NOT your student ID number. You will need to wait for the email to come with your ID number. It will be ALL numbers, and no letters.
